Remembering Dusty Springfield 16th April 1939 - 2nd March 1999 Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien, better known as Dusty Springfield, was born this day in 1939. With her distinctive voice, Dusty became one of the most successful British female performers, clocking up 6 top 20 singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 and 16 on the UK Singles Charts from 1963 to 1989. Always brings back happy memories of a road trip to Cornwall with the girls, singing along to this in a convertible with the roof down, shooting through country lanes :)
Remembering Stirling Moss So sorry to hear that British racing legend, Sir Stirling Moss, has died at the age of 90.
