Homemade Beauty Treatmeants This time of year is busy for us women and with our purses being used to the max, it isn't always easy to find the time or money to pamper ourselves.    So why not, think about homemade beauty pampering sessions instead-  even Kate Moss admits to doing this. http://www.public.fr For getting rid of that morning after pasty look, Kate Moss swears by plunging her face into water filled with ice-cubes and cucumber.   The cucumber takes out the puffiness and redness and apparently was also used by Joan Crawford. Take a look at  http://homemadeforelle.com  which has some great recipes.   Most of the ingredients you will have lying about in your food cupboard so the cost is minimal. The carrot and coconut oil face mask sounds particularly appealing and is great if you are prone to spots.  The carrots help to tone and reduce breakouts whilst the coconut is an excellent moisturiser. Famous Frocks In March 2013, Vogue wrote an article on the top 20 most iconic dresses and so I decided to create my own honours list.   Let me know if there are any outfits that you think I have missed. The white, halter-neck dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in 1955 in "The Seven Year Itch" has to be the most famous of all dresses.  In 2011, the dress was sold for £3.5 million. This dress was worn by Audrey Hepburn in 1961 in "Breakfast at Tiffany's".  The dress was recently on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Who can forget, Jessica Rabbit's sequinned red dress she wore in the 1988 film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", where she says "Im not bad, I'm just drawn that way".   The dress has been copied and worn by the likes of Katy Perry, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jessica Biel. In 1994, whilst Prince Charles was on TV admitting to his affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles, Princess Diana attend

Glamorous Getaway This speaks of ultimate glamour - take a look at the Manta Resort, Pemba Island (also known as "The Green Island" in Arabic) which is 30 minutes from Zanzibar, with prices starting at $750 per person, per night  www.themantaresort.com Designed by Swedish company, Genberg Underwater Hotels, this is Africa's first underwater hotel  and has a bedroom that is 4 metres below the surface or you can climb onto the top deck and enjoy the sunshine and fantastic view. The first underwater hotel that Genberg built was in 2000 and is on a lake just outside Stockholm and is called the Utter Inn.   I have to be honest, I know which one I prefer :)
