Some of the more successful models have gone on to become household names by moving into music, TV or becoming successful businesswomen. Here we look back at the most popular: Jo Guest was a successful Page 3 and glamour model Lucy Pinder came into prominence in the early 2000s after being discovered by a photographer on Bournemouth beach. She went on to become Britain's most successful glamour model but is now focusing on an acting career. Maria Whittaker was a Page 3 in the 1980s and went on to marry musician Michael West better known as Rebel MC. Melinda Messenger's Page 3 career was cut short when The Sun decided to only model natural girls but she went on to carve a successful TV career and can now be seen co-hosting reality show Cowboy Builders.
