Piper Laurie Happy Birthday to American actress, Piper Laurie, who is 84 today.  Piper starred in films such as Carrie, The Hustler and Children of a Lesser God which brought her Academy Award nominations.  Piper also won a Golden Globe Award in 1991 for her role as Catherine Martell in the popular TV series Twin Peaks.
