HMS Invincible


Saturday afternoon was spent viewing material from the wreck of HMS Invincible.  The ship was built in France in 1744 and captured by the British on the 3rd May1747.  Bournemouth University has been assisting the Maritime Archaeology Sea Trust with the recovery, conversation and display of finds from the wreck which is located in The Solent.
