Corinne Calvet

French actress, Corinne  Calvet, was born in Paris this day in 1925.

In the 1950s, she starred in a number of films alongside the likes of Alan Ladd, Tony Curtis, James Stewart and Burt Lancaster.

1952, Corinne sued Zsa Zsa Gabor $1 million for slander, claiming that Gabor had  stated that Corinne was not French but an English Cockney girl who had not been able to speak French a few years before.  Nothing came of the claim.
