Elvis Presley Custom Built Hotrod


In August this year, this 1929 roadster was auctioned at The Hard Rock Cafe in California.  The car had been used in Elvis Presley's first movie "Loving You" (1957) and fetched $150,000.00.

The car was built by the late John Athan.  Elvis had tried to buy the car from Athan but he refused as the car held sentimental value as he and his wife had driven the car to Las Vegas to get married.
