The great fashion designer Yves St Laurent would of been 78 years old yesterday, if still alive.  He was credited for spurring the rise of couture from the sixties and making ready-to-wear outfits as reputable.  For me, I loved his introduction of the tuxedo suit for women - a very powerful and sexy look.
