Hot Gossip Dancing troupe, Hot Gossip was formed by Arlene Phillips in 1974. The troupe were famous for the risqué nature of their costumes and dance routines. In 1978 they became a regular feature on the Kenny Everett Show which lasted until 1981 when the show moved from ITV to BBC. Some of the dancers included: Famous classical singer, Sarah Brightman was recruited by Arlene Phillips and in 1978 the group fronted by Sarah had a disco hit with "I lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper" which went to number 6 in the UK charts. Bunty Bailey who went on to star as the girlfriend in the A-ha music videos for "Take on Me" and "The Sun always Shines on TV". Perri Lister also was a backing singer for Steve Strange's Visage and starred in music videos for Duran Duran and Billy Idol who she had a 9 year relationship with. She starred in "White Wedding" as his bride. The couple had a son but broke up in 1989. ...
