Celebrating 50 Years - Isle of Wight Festival


Hundreds of people have crossed The Solent this weekend for the 50th Isle of Wight Festival.  Bands such as Kasabian, Depeche Mode and The Killers will be playing.

Probably the most famous of these festivals was held in 1970 where over 600,000 people listened to the likes of:

The Doors

The Who

Jethro Tull

Joni Mitchell

Moody Blues

Donovan

Joan Baez
