Queen's Coronation Gown
The coronation of the Queen took place on 2nd June 1953. The dress the Queen wore was designed by Norman Hartnell and took 8 months to complete. The dress has embroidered emblems including the Tudor rose, Scot's thistle, Welsh Leek, Irish Shamrock and countries of the Commonwealth.
