Cute Ape Piaggio

The cute Italian Ape Piaggio has been in production since 1948.

After WW2, many Italians couldn't afford to buy 4 wheeled vehicles.  In 1947, Corradino D'Ascanio, the inventor of the Vespa, came up with the idea for a 3 wheeled commercial vehicle.
