German WW2 Bullet-Ridden Plane Wing Up for Auction

The tail wing from a plane flown by Heinz-Wolfgang Schnaufer, the highest scoring fighter pilot in the history of aerial warfare, is being auctioned in Cirencester, Gloucestershire on May 15th, where it is expected to fetch in the region of £20,000.
The tail wing shows 121 stencils of all the planes that he shot down after 164 sorties between 1st June 1942 and the 7th March 1945. His plane was finally shot down on March 30th 1945 but he was not in the plane at the time. He died on July 15th, 1950 (aged 28) in a car accident in Bordeaux, France.
