Blue Pool


With the beaches full, we decided to visit Blue Pool near Wareham today.    Blue Pool is a flooded old clay pit.  It started life in the 17th century where clay dig from here was made into smoking pipes, plates, cups and tea pots and was worked right up until the start of the WWI.
