Second Class Menu from the Titanic to be Auctioned at the end of the Month





One of two second class menus from the Titanic is being sold on the 26th April in Devizes, Wiltshire and is expected to fetch around £80,000.

The menu was sent by saloon steward, Jacob Gibbons was sent to his girlfriend, a Miss L Payne, who was living at Studland, here in Dorset and was dated the 11th April 1912 and was sent from Queenstown in Ireland before the ship crossed the Atlantic to the US.
