World's most expensive egg with mirage diamonds


This Easter egg costs £5 million and is covered in 1,000 tiny diamonds.  It was created by Manfred Wild and opens up to reveal an 18-ct gold globe with a dove sitting on a branch.


New York confectioner, Sugar and Plumm, have created a $5,000 easter egg which has taken 2 weeks to make.  The 40lb egg is composed of edible white, dark and milk chocolate with 3-d rabbits, clocks and gold detailed designs.



Melbourne, Australia's most expensive egg is $250 and is made by Ganache Chocolate's and is a 45 cm egg filled with 100 small chocolates.





Geneva based Shawish's $46,500 Easter egg is being displayed at Harrods.  Inside the chocolate egg is an 18-cg white gold pendant.




And last but certainly not least, it is believed that one of the most valuable jewels from Russia may well be hidden here in Britain after being bought by a stranger for cash in an antique shop off Bond Street in 1952.  The Neccassaire Egg has never been seen since and could be worth up to £20 million.
