January Detox




The first day of 2015 - the year I want to be healthier (yep my New Year's resolution) and to kick-start this off, I have decided to give myself a mini detox by not having wine (groan) or caffeine (louder groan) for one whole month.  



As I am not a huge fan of plain water, I am going to try flavouring my water with the following:

Lemon:  to help cleanse and alkaline the body

Mint:  good for the stomach and digestion

Cucumber:  excellent for rehydration and contains anti-inflammatory properties

Ginger:  helps cleanse the system, aids digestion and is good for the stomach.
