Ginger Rogers



American actress and dancer, Virginia Katherine McMath, better known as Ginger Rogers, was born this day in 1911.  During her career, she made 73 films but is probably best remembered for being the successful dance partner for Fred Astaire - together they made 10 musical films.  Ginger died in California on the 25th April 1995 aged 83.
