Festive Cities

Take a look at how festive some of the world's greatest cities look.

Vienna,Austria.   This beautiful, old city just sparkles at Christmas with the festive lights.  They also hold traditional Christmas Markets where you can buy mulled wine and candied fruit which has a romantic and old-fashioned charm.

New York.   The Husband and I have visited New York when the Christmas decorations are up and it is spectacular.   A carriage-ride around Central Park on a crisp, winters day is a must.

London.   Just got to mention London - You can see the lights in Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Carnaby Street and then go ice-skating at Somerset House, Hyde Park, Canary Wharf and the Tower of London.

Quebec, Canada.   How festive does this look?   Definitely one city I would love to see at this time of year.

Monte Carlo, Monaco.     Snow white trees in front of the world famous Monte Carlo Casino, make it look truly festive.

Berlin, Germany.  Over the Christmas period, as well as enjoying the beautiful lights, there are about 60 Christmas markets to wander around
