All about Jukeboxes

When you think of Jukeboxes, you think Rock n Roll.   The first jukebox came into use in the USA in 1940 and became a popular feature until the 1960s.

The 1946 Wurlitzer Model 1015 is considered to be a pop culture icon these days.  Over 56,000 were sold in less than two years and are still regarded as highly desirable.

The 1952 Seeburg is the one you see in the credit sequence in Happy Days in seasons 1-10.

Only 4 or 5 of these 1940s Gables Kuro jukeboxes exist and are valued at around $125,000.

There is only thought to be Rock-Ola President in existence and is valued at $150,000.

Only 15 are known to exist of the Rock-Ola Premier and are valued at £20,000.

The Wurlitzer 950 is valued at $35,000 and between 75 and 90 are known to exist.
