Iconic Lipsticks in Films
Vogue has taken a look at some of the most memorable mouths in film and I have added a couple of my favourites (http://www.vogue.com/1437059/iconic-lipstick-in-movies)
Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys who wore Super Lustrous Lipstick Creme - "Pink in the Afternoon" which she apparently wore in all of her films.
It is said that Elizabeth Taylor loved her red lipstick so much that she would not allow anyone on her film sets to wear it.
Faye Dunaway's distinctive look in Chinatown was inspired by Roman Polanski's memories of his mother pre WWII where it was fashionable to wear penciled-in eyebrows and have lips shaped in the form of Cupid's bow.
Apparently Marilyn Monroe wore up to 5 different red lipsticks at one to get the perfect red mouth.
Who can forget Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction. Urban Decay created a deep blood red lipstick called The Urban Decay Frevolution Lipstick in Mrs Mia Wallace in order for us to copy that look.
Cate Blanchet as Katherine Hepburn in the Aviator - try Julie Hewett Coco Noir for a similar look.
I love the red lipstick that Ziya Zhang wears in Memoirs of a Geisha - try NYX Round Lipstick in Snow White
