Sticking with Chanel this morning, Lochmore Lodge owned by the current Duke of Westminster, is up for sale for £450,000. It was here that Coco Chanel used to love to stay here with the then 2nd Duke of Westminster and the likes of Winston Churchill and his wife Clemmie. Coco was known to love her salmon fishing and would borrow the Duke's tweeds which she later incorporated into some of her fashion designs.
Miss French Riviera American-born, burlesque dancer, Dorian Dennis started off wanting to be a doctor after obtaining a Batchelor of Science degree at New York University but in the 1950s decided to move into the world of burlesque. She was known as Miss French Riviera and travelled across the USA, Canada and Europe earning up to $1,200 a week. Sadly Dorian died at the age of 40 in Florida from cancer.
