Barbie is ditching her high heels for flat shoes.  The new Barbie now wears chunky sandals and gladiator sandals.  Even I have invested in a pair of brogues - never thought that would happen.

Miss French Riviera American-born, burlesque dancer, Dorian Dennis started off wanting to be a doctor after obtaining a Batchelor of Science degree at New York University but in the 1950s decided to move into the world of burlesque.   She was known as Miss French Riviera and travelled across the USA, Canada and Europe earning up to $1,200 a week.  Sadly Dorian died at the age of 40 in Florida from cancer.
