In 2005, Melita Koulmandas Hunter and her Husband moved to Cambodia on what they thought would be a year-long stay.   Ten years later, they both remain in Cambodia and in that time they have built a luxury 5-star resort.



What was so amazing was that Melita paid only $15,000 for the land rights together with a 99 year lease from the national government.   The resort has 27 villas with a stay on the island costing $869 per night.
