Castleman Hotel

Last night, the family celebrated our parents Golden Wedding Anniversary at the Castleman Hotel in  Chettel, a quaint village, not far from Blandford and set within the former royal hunting grounds of Cranbourne Chase.  The hotel was a former dower house and dates back to the 16th century.   The village and estate are owned by the Bourke family.

It was a perfect excuse to dress up and as it was such a mild evening, I wore a recently purchased Phase Eight jumpsuit (don't you just love their sales) teamed with my favourite red shoes.  It was lovely to see all the children making an effort too :)
