Lindy Hop



Linda Hop originated in Harlem  in the 1920s and 1930s and got it's name after Charles Lindbergh's flight to Paris in 1927 and the newspapers headlined with "Lindy hops the Atlantic".   In fact, the dance has no hop in it at all.
