Jamaican reggae singer\songwriter, Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley, died in Miami this day in 1981.  He started out in 1963 with the Wailers which lasted until 1974 when Marley went on to forge a successful solo career.   He was to become one of the world's best selling artists of all time with sales of more than 75 million albums and singles.
