A film is being made of the 1970s hit and still a firm favourite of mine - Dad's Army.   The cast to include:

Toby Jones as Captain Mainwaring

Bill Nighy as Sergeant Wilson

Sir Tom Courtenay as Corp Jones

Danny Mays as Private Walker

Blake Harrison as Pike

Sir Michael Gambon as Godfrey

Bill Paterson as Frazer

Catherine Zeta-Jones as a glamorous journalist
