Germany's famous 18-day Oktoberfest starts today with over 6 million people expected to attend.
The very first Festival took place in 1810 to honour the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig's marriage.  Over1.8 million gallons of beer will be drunk with the traditional stein costing around $13.
