The Book Corner
Two books that have caught my eye are Johnny Cash: The Life by Robert Hillburn and Anjelica Huston's A Story Lately Told.
Music critic, Hillburn knew Cash throughout his life and was the only music journalist who attended the famous concert at Folsom Prison in 1968 and later interviewed by Cash and his wife, June Carter before they died in 2003.
Anjelica Huston's A Story Lately Told: Coming of Age in Ireland, London and New York tells her story of her childhood in Ireland where she was raised on anEstate with servants and then moving to London in the sixties to live with her glamorous mother and then becoming a model in New York. The book ends as Huston launches her Hollywood career which is followed in her book, Watch Me, which is due out early next year.
