Carmen Dell'Orefice

 Carmen Dell'Orefice is truly amazing.  At 82, she looks truly stunning.  

Born to an Italian immigrant father and Hungarian Mother, Carmen modelled initially to support her impoverished parents.  At 13, she was spotted by a photographer's wife in New York City and a year later sat for Salvador Dali who gave her a painting in addition to the $7 for modelling for him.  She has been photographed by the likes of Cecil Beaton, Norman Parkinson and Richard Avedon.

At 47, with her hair starting to turn grey, Carmen made the decision to lighten her hard which has now become her signature look.    Carmen has modelled for Rolex and many top fashion houses and in July 2011 was awarded an honorary doctorate at the University of the Arts London.

Daphne Selfe

British born Daphne Selfe is 83 years old and has modelled for Vogue, Dolce & Gabbana, Nivea, Marks & Spencers and Olay.   Her secret for remaining so beautiful, Daphne believes, is down to her long hair, no botox and Boots face cream.

China Machado

Once dubbed "probably the most beautiful woman in the world" by Richard Avedon. China has partied with the likes of Andy Warhol and partied in Paris with Picasso and lost out in love to Ava Gardner.   At 82, she is still in demand on the catwalk.
