Great White spotted 1,000 miles from Cornwall




A 15", 2000lb Great White named Lydia is currently 1,000 miles off the Cornish and Irish coast.  She has swam 380 miles in 72 hours and is near the mid-Atlantic ridge.  If she crosses the ridge, she will be the first recorded Great White to cross the Atlantic.
