So sorry to hear that the very talented fashion designer L'Wren Scott and girlfriend to Mick Jagger has died. Apparently she was found by her assistant this morning at her New York apartment and police are treating it as suicide.

Some of the more successful models have gone on to become household names by moving into music, TV or becoming successful businesswomen. Here we look back at the most popular: Jo Guest was a successful Page 3 and glamour model Lucy Pinder came into prominence in the early 2000s after being discovered by a photographer on Bournemouth beach. She went on to become Britain's most successful glamour model but is now focusing on an acting career. Maria Whittaker was a Page 3 in the 1980s and went on to marry musician Michael West better known as Rebel MC.
