New York born Lady Gaga is celebrating her birthday today.   Influenced by David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Cher and Queen, she is recognised for her flamboyant contribution to the music industry.  Lady Gaga has sold over 24 million albums and 125 million singles worldwide.

Miss French Riviera American-born, burlesque dancer, Dorian Dennis started off wanting to be a doctor after obtaining a Batchelor of Science degree at New York University but in the 1950s decided to move into the world of burlesque.   She was known as Miss French Riviera and travelled across the USA, Canada and Europe earning up to $1,200 a week.  Sadly Dorian died at the age of 40 in Florida from cancer.
