It is American TV and film actress, Eva Longoria's birthday today.  Probably best known as Garielle Solis in Desperate Housewives, Eva has also starred in Harsh Times, The Sentinel and Over Her Dead Body.   In 2006, Eva is a restaurant owner and keen philanthropist and has founded Eva's Heroes - a charity that helps developmentally disabled children.
